In a world where technology and communication are interconnected, we often find ourselves deciphering mixed signals in communication. Small hints, unclear messages, and changing situations can confuse us, making us wonder what people really mean. Technology can both help and confuse us, offering solutions while also raising questions. 

"How self-aware are you of  the mixed signals you may be sending?"

Instructions

1. Scan the QR code.
2. Tap the "VIEW IN YOUR SPACE" button to activate AR.
3. Aim your device's camera at a flat, level surface to capture the environment for placing the AR model.
4. As the model appears in your surroundings, move your device around to fine-tune its position and orientation.
5. To adjust the size of the AR model in your environment zoom in or out using your fingertips.
6. To rotate the model place two fingers on the screen and drag them around.
Features

Interactive 3D TV Screen
A commercially available 3D TV screen serves as the centerpiece of the installation, providing a physical anchor for the immersive AR experience. The emerging 3D graphics are developed to represent the evolving color patterns and shapes that emerge from the TV test card. The visual appeal of the 3D graphics complements the underlying theme of ambiguity in technology and communication.

WebAR Capabilities
Google's <model-viewer> was used to create the immersive WebAR experience. It provides tools for designing 3D graphics, handling user interactions, and tracking the environment.

Accessibility for a Wider Audience
 By leveraging BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) technology, the "Mixed Signals" AR installation eliminates the need for specialized hardware, making it accessible to a broader range of visitors.

Cross-Platform Compatibility 
By utilizing modelviewers AR functionality, the installation is compatible with both Android and iOS devices, ensuring a seamless experience for visitors with different device preferences. This cross-platform compatibility extends to compatibility across browsers, allowing visitors to experience the artwork from various digital platforms.

Snapshots and Videos 
The ability to capture snapshots and videos of the AR experience provides visitors with a tangible keepsake of their interaction with the artwork. These visual records offer a way to revisit and reflect on the artwork, deepening their engagement with its themes and messages.
